Sant Joan's Castle Tower

Also known as "castell de sant Joan". Remains of medieval times. Suffered attacks from napoleons army and the genoese. Was recently reconstructed. Important piece of lloret de mars history!

En Plaja's Castle

Watch out! This is NOT a medieval Castle. It was built during the civil war in spain in 1935. It's one of the most popular motives for postcards and pictures as it's near the see and looks very beautiful. But it's a private building not a remain of ancient times.

Donna Marinera

Many consider a bronze statue overlooking the town to be Lloret's symbol. The sculpture shows a fisherman's wife (Dona Marinera) and it was made in 1966 by Ernest Maragall.
